African University will admit students who demonstrate in writing or otherwise the following:

• Problem Solving - demonstrate a capacity to solve life problems using creative, imaginative and critical thinking strategies.
• Leadership Potential - demonstrate a mature sense of personal identity and integrity as well as sensitivity toward the less fortunate.
• Empathic Understanding - demonstrate sensitivity and understanding of human diversity and the uniqueness that comes with it.
• Love for Learning – demonstrate natural curiosity and originality of interest in learning especially interest in knowledge to improve the quality and understandings of human life.

Each College of African University may specify additional requirements for admission.
